Job Summary:

Asset Control provides strategic data management solutions to (the major) companies in the financial industry. A Business (or Functional) Presales Consultant provides expert-level support to the sales staff in their commercial efforts. This includes engaging clients in Presales Workshops and Proof of Concepts together with the presales team. Besides these ‘second level’ presales sessions, the prospective candidate will have a great deal of responsibility in maintaining the demonstration solution by creating new use case and demo scenarios, maintaining related PowerPoint presentations, as well as being instrumental in taking feedback from clients back to the development organization as part of the Product Management process. The role offers a great deal of client involvement and involves travel. The position is in the Amsterdam Office of Asset Control.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Serve as an export business/ functional point of contact for clients and prospects of Asset Control;
• Act as the business consultant in the deployment of the demonstration environment/ solutions;
• Define new use cases and maintain demonstration scenarios for the demo environment;
• Create and maintain conceptual and product PowerPoint slides;
• Create and maintain functional architecture overviews of existing clients;
• Liaise with Product Management in delivering input with respect to potential areas of product enhancements.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• Masters Degree in a finance and/or investment;
• Ability to think in abstract concepts and modelling (shown by knowledge on for instance Microsoft Access, VBA scripting, etc);
• Knowledge on Microsoft PowerPoint;
  Preferred:
• Experience working for example for a (financial) technology software company or in the information analysis, with some experience in data management projects;
• Knowledge of content providers and/or the downstream systems making use of this data in one or more of the indicated domains.
