The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for managing the overall sales activity of the Asset Control tier one product range for designated existing/new accounts and reaching their sales quota by developing new business. Job responsibilities: - As a member of the global sales team contribute to successful achievement of the sales target through individual quota achievement;
- Prospect and develop new business;
- Develop solid revenue forecasts in coordination with sales management;
- Coordinate the team(s) involved in the commercial processes, and in this way orchestrate the sales effort in an effective manner leading to successful closure of commercial deals;
- Liase with the contract manager on contracts and legal issues to safeguard the company interests;
- Continuously feed and maintain the company sales force automation tool;
- Manage and be responsible for your assigned territories with workshops, seminars, etc;
- Built, sustain and improve commercial relationships across c level and below.
Education / Training: - Academic degree;
- Various sales courses, such as the consultative selling methodology or miller heiman;
- Financial / Business courses.
Specific knowledge: - Excellent understanding of the financial services industry;
- In depth understanding of all or either market data, corporate actions and reference data and STP;
- Excellent communications skills oral and written;
- Awareness of data standards, including Market Data Definition Language, ISO 15022, etc.
Specific experience: - Successfully sold in to the financial services industry;
- Must have worked with 7 years plus solid track record in selling complex consultative product;
- Be able to demonstrate a solid history of selling multi million deals to the decision makers and influencers;
- European or Asian Languages an advantage.
Personal competences: - Highly organized and persistent;
- Strong interpersonal skills and full mastery of the consultative selling methodology or similar complex selling;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Common sense and strong work ethic;
- A “door opener” and a “deal closer”;
- The ability to create new opportunities, such as through “cold calling”, networking and existing contacts;
- Maturity in sales and highly independent, but at the same time a team player.
