The Sales Executive must be a motivated and dynamic ‘hunter’. They will be responsible for managing the overall sales activity of primarily the Asset Control TAPMaster products for designated existing and/or new accounts, and for reaching sales quota by developing new business. Job responsibilities: - As a member of the global sales team contribute to successful achievement of the sales target through individual quota achievement;
- Prospect and develop new business;
- Develop solid revenue forecasts in coordination with sales management;
- Coordinate the team(s) involved in the commercial processes, and in this way orchestrate the sales effort in an effective manner leading to successful closure of commercial deals;
- Liase with the contract manager on contracts and legal issues to safeguard the company interests;
- Continuously feed and maintain the company sales force automation tool;
- Account management to create add-on business and to prevent churn;
- Consistently cold call prospects to generate new business;
- Built, sustain and improve commercial relationships across each prospect and client.
Education / Training: - Academic degree preferred, although sales ability comes first;
- sales courses, such as the consultative selling methodology or miller heiman an advantage;
- Financial / Business courses an advantage.
Specific knowledge: - good understanding of the financial services industry;
- Excellent communications skills oral and written;
- Awareness of data issues in our industry an advantage.
Specific experience: - Successfully sold into the financial services industry;
- Must have worked with 2 years plus solid track record in selling financial or technology product, ideally software;
- Be able to demonstrate a solid history of closing deals – bring your history;
- European or Asian Languages an advantage;
- MUST be strongly motivated;
- Willing to work hard and learn complex selling processes;
- Can manage and drive the sales process from start to end when dealing with either the customer or/ and AC internal resources;
- Candidates that worked for companies famous for their sales training are very welcome (i.e Oracle, IBM, Bloomberg, etc...).
Personal competences: - Highly organized and persistent;
- Languages an advantage (Japanese, Mandarin, German, Italian, Spanish);
- Willing to travel;
- MUST be a high caliber sales person from a technology or financial sector with at least two years experience;
- Strong interpersonal skills in all of your stated languages;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Common sense and strong work ethic;
- A “door opener” and a “deal closer”;
- The ability to create new opportunities predominantly through “cold calling”;
- Must be a top caliber sales person who wants to move up a gear and be a team player.
