The AC Business Suite’s mission is to leverage the data layer via applications targeted at different areas within the financial services industry. As 70% of the effort of a typical application is in getting the data right, applications in the AC Business Suite are “light” in the data sense.  They leverage the data from the AC Data Suite to concentrate on value-add.  This independence of a data layer means less maintenance and more flexibility in adding applications.

In a financial markets environment with rapid product innovation and regulatory developments, the average shelf-life of an application is shorter. Hence, agility and time-to-market in creating or adapting applications is more important than ever. Applications within the AC Business Suite include AC Contour – a curve generating application to provide market risk data – and AC Surveyor, a web client, with easy to configure pages of price information.
