TapMaster Editor

No financial firm is an island, and no single data source provides everything you need to run your business. 

TAPMaster Editor provides you with the tools to contribute and manage data content on the TAPMaster database. Editor provides web based interfaces that allow appropriately permissioned users to investigate and rectify detected suspect data values. With built in workflow control, only bona fide changes are submitted to the database.

Editor provides the following features:

• Permission based display of suspect data records
• Full modification functionality for any business data record held in the database
• Full audit trails of all database related activities
• Full rollback capabilities
• Built in workflow to allow supervisors to review and approve changes before commitment to the database
• Full propagation control over data modifications including writing to an audit database (the default), overwriting data records, and contribution of corrections as a parallel record
• Full reporting for management and monitoring

In addition to modifying suspect data from external sources, Editor also provides the tools for users to contribute their own data content to the TAPMaster database in two different ways:

• Via the same web based user interfaces deployed for modification
• Via a web services API to collect data from other sources in a turnkey, automated fashion

In both cases, all content is under the control of the same management model, supporting your needs for full audit and distribution control.
