TAPMaster On Demand provides immediate and unprecedented access to a wide range of securities reference data and supports rapid time to market for new business and analytical functions. TAPMaster On Demand can be used across the enterprise wherever access to security reference data is required.

TAPMaster On Demand provides the following features:

• Reduces data access costs - TAPMaster On Demand provides full access to the TAPMaster Global Capital Markets Logical Data Model through a single well-documented interface.
• Reduces time to market for data intensive applications - requests to TAPMaster On Demand comprise a list of fields that the consuming application requires. The list can be extended or changed rapidly to support changing data requirements. Data is returned in XML format to allow the consuming application to easily parse the required information.
• Industry Standard Integration - the use of web service technology to support integration allows applications with different architectures (J2EE, Microsoft .Net, Unix, IBM, Microsoft Windows) to access securities reference data on demand.
• Built-in Data Upgrades - the use of XML to provide the request and response format allows TAP Solutions to provide continuous improvement in content availability without adversely impacting consuming applications. New data feeds and data feed extensions are automatically added to the dataset available through TAPMaster On Demand.
• Secure Connectivity - the use of web service technology allows data to be secured in transit from TAPMaster to the consuming application.

TAPMaster On Demand is a web service that provides open, direct, real-time, read-only access to over 700 securities reference data fields held in the TAPMaster Global Capital Markets data model.

TAPMaster On Demand supports access from desktop applications such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word as well as providing simple connectivity to server and mainframe applications irrespective of their technical architecture.
