Job Title: Account Director, EMEA Reporting: Head of International Sales

The Role

Be responsible for sales to new clients and account management of existing clients in the EMEA region, including France, Spain and Benelux.

The Company is expanding and investing significantly in new products and a growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

To achieve sales targets the Account Director will undertake key sales activities including lead creation and managing a complex, consultative sales process from opportunity creation to deal close for new relationships, as well as new sales opportunities within the existing client base. The Account Director will also manage key strategic relationships across their territory and will work closely with established and new partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Define and implement territory-specific goals and activities to support successful achievement of sales targets
  • Undertake account management and up-selling to existing clients
  • Assist and/or own submissions to territory tender processes (RFIs, etc.) in collaboration with Pre-Sales team
  • Build long term relationships with customers & prospects
  • Coordinate and organize territory-specific customer events
  • Undertake directed sales campaigns
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting and activity reporting in Salesforce
  • Build and drive an account plan per client
  • Provide market and customer feedback to help drive Asset Control strategy & product development
  • Frequent travel require

Qualifications and Training

  • Successful track record in consultative enterprise and use case software solution sales
  • Strong commercial awareness, acumen and negotiation skills
  • Very customer focused and ability to create lasting long-term relationships with customers
  • Outstanding ability to develop strong cross-functional collaborative relationships – open-minded and creative about go-to-market approaches
  • Excellent ability to communicate – must be highly effective in written and verbal communications with all customer types and internally
  • Ability to influence people at all levels across all disciplines to ensure successful outcomes
  • International experience, and culturally sensitive data services
  • Knowledge of financial data management systems, market risk, reference market data across multi-asset classes and an overall familiarity with financial data services
  • High level understanding of core underlying technologies
  • Fluent French and/or Spanish speaker
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
